110bd10569 Handle more regions
This is much, much slower than numpy would do it. I should probably do
this right sometime, but right now I just want it to work.

d5ceec6e8b fixed custom mode option inheritance bug + another bug
Render mode "self" structs are now guaranteed to start zero'd out.
